Hip hip hurray
So, this post is only baby related in the sense that he can come anytime he likes now. I have successfully defended my thesis. Not just defended it, I felt good about my performance. Yay. There were two questions that I really didn't feel like I answered well, but overall I did really well with the rest of them. AHHHHH. I'm just so excited. I can't tell you how great I feel. I can breath much easier now. I feel badly posting this right after Dan's post though, so if you haven't seen his post from today, scroll down to it, it's really beautiful. I also just want to add a thank you to everyone who has been silently following along with us. It's nice to know you're thinking of us.

Steph - that's great. Congrats on your thesis going so well. I keep checking the blog lol - wondering if I'll miss the arrival of the baby. Dan - you're going to be such a great Dad. Hope to hear some news soon - I hope before Thanksgiving for both of your sakes lol.
love - Suzanne
Yay!!! Woooo Hoooo! Steph, when I called last night to wish you well on defending your thesis and you didn't answer, I got all kinds of excited! I thought you were having the baby! So thanks for this post to let me off the edge of my seat!
Congrats on defending your thesis. I've never seen someone work so hard on something. You deserve the best possible outcome on that.
Now take a breath, enjoy these final days (or hours!) as a care-free mom-to-be, and relax!
Yay! Good work and congratulations Steph! You amaze me - I was totally useless in the last couple of weeks before Lily arrived. Enjoy the last few days and the anticipation that goes along with it. Baby Boy (dos he have a name yet??) will be here before you know it!
Oh my goodness--first this morning I got sucked into watching Rudy on HBO while eating my breakfast and was bawling. Then I came into my room and checked the blog...You guys are killing me. I'm a mess and I'm not even doing anything important like having a baby or defending a thesis!!! I know I have been one of the silent readers thus far but I'm thinking of all three of you often. Steph, I'm SO proud of you for accomplishing so much (and puts some of my whining in perspective)!! They say you only have to be "good enough" parents, but the thoughtfulness and patience that you both have can only give you a happy and secure little guy--and soon!! :-) xo
