Back at the pad

Yesterday Steph and I took Quinn back home. The last couple of weeks at the hospital have given Steph and I more things to add to the list of experiences we'll never forget. But it's over, and Quinn has already forgotten everything. Now he can get some uninterrupted sleep, and no pain will be inflicted on him. He's eating well, and gaining weight. Life is good, and we're on to happy ending, part two.

Hi Dan, hi Steph and hello to baby Quinn. It's been more than a few years since we've see you guys- but someone sent us the link to your blog and Steve and I have been sitting here reading it for the past hour. We have been moved to tears by your strength and love. Quinn is an absolutely beautiful baby and you are all blessed to have each other.
May this new year bring you all peace and comfort.

Hi guys: OK, where Quinn is, sleeping on Steph's chest--that's where you guys need to spend the majority of your time now! Let Dan worry about laundry, cooking, etc. You guys just need to "nest"!!! I am so happy you're all home now, and you gotta just stay there! Thank goodness there is this blog so you can afford to just forget the last two months for now, and just enjoy being a family, finally! Peace and love to the three of you, and we'll all meet in person in time.

I'm so glad that you are over the latest hurdle and home again!! Yay!! Also, since I didn't comment on the last post, I thought the pics of Quinn crying really showed his mightyness!! ;-) I wouldn't want to be on the receiving end there. All the rest are just precious.

Can't wait to hear more good, regular baby stuff news. xo

Hi everybody. Thought I'd let you all know I talked to Dan Monday night. He said Quinn is doing really well. He seems to be gaining weight better being at home; he's just three ounces shy of 8 pounds! Quinn smiles alot, and is giving them lots & lots of poopy diapers. Dan said he & Steph are doing well, too.

My little Quinn, I am going to babysit for your cousin Mary on Saturday, and I am going to give her ten MILLION kisses and ten MILLION hugs to give to you when she sees you next time! AND I'm going to take her to the Children's Museum, and when you get big enough we're all going to go TOGETHER!!! We are going to have so much FUN!!! Don't forget to collect on those Grandma kisses from MaryBear, okay?!? Lots of Love, Joanne
